More Than Just Cosmetic
When I got my SandSpike I found myself using my foot on the top of the spike to set it into the sand, but the slick painted surface of the spike made that difficult to do without my foot slipping off. These skins are more than just a cosmetic add-on to your SandSpike. They provide a comfortable foam grip-like surface to allow you to set your SandSpike without your foot slipping off. I've only used it twice since receiving it but it's been holding up in saltwater extremely well. Highly recommend. On top of that, communication with Amanda at SandSpike about this product was great!
